Major parts of centrifuge

Centrifuging - A special machine that spins solutions at ultra speeds to separate different types of substances. You might think of it as a large mixing device, as opposed to mixing things, it separates them. There are many critical components of a centrifuge that each play their role in allowing it to operate effectively. A rotor is one of the most critical components of a centrifuge. The rotor is a rotating wheel that holds the particles you want to separate. It spins at a high speed, creating significant force, which helps tear apart the materials inside.

The force unleashed during rotor spinning can be intense, and even somewhat dangerous, if not controlled properly. That is why there is a special outer shell of a centrifuge brake called a housing. The Hengrui housing is a tough metal shell that protects all of the machine's internals. It has been built to be quite heavy-duty and withstand a lot of pressure. The housing is significant because it keeps any separated substances from being blown out of the machine. If anything escaped, it could injure humans nearby or destroy the machine itself.

Keeping the Force in Check

Centrifuges in use rotate at extremely high speeds. That is also why the machine must remain stable and balanced. The base is a part of the Hengrui centrifuge and provides stability when it spins so it doesn’t go all over the place. It functions as a solid base that holds intra of the movement. A robust and strong base needs to be constructed so that whatever speed the centrifuge is spinning at, it stays in the same position.
